Attestation Procedures
(1) For public documents such as birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, and certificates of incorporation, they must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and then submitted to the Chinese Embassy/Consulate General for attestation.
(2) For individual documents such as power of attorney, affidavits, and business letters, they must be notarized by a local notary public, and then attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan before being submitted to the Chinese Embassy/Consulate General for attestation.
NOTE
(1) Please ensure that the applicant shall follow all required steps for authentication before submitting your document to the Chinese Embassy/Consulate General for final attestation.
(2) The document submitted shall be authentic, intact, and legitimate. The Embassy will NOT attest a document containing illegal contents under Chinese laws or that may pose potential threats to China's national or public interests.
(3) A multi-page document must be properly and securely bound to maintain its integrity. The Embassy/Consulate General will NOT attest a document that is found to be illegitimate, forged, counterfeited, fraudulent, or altered in any way.
(4) Documents concerning marital status, health status, or criminal records are only valid for six months from the date of issuance. The Embassy/Consulate General will NOT attest a document that has expired.
Documents to be submitted
(1) One duly completed and signed Attestation Application Form.
(2) Submit the document to be attested, both the original and a complete set of photocopies.
(3) For individual documents, please provide a passport copy of the applicant; for corporate documents, please provide a cover letter and a passport copy of the legal representative of the company, along with proof of ownership such as a certificate of incorporation.
(4) If your application is submitted by an agent, please include a copy of the agent's passport or CNIC copy.
(5) Other supporting documents as requested by the consular officer.
